Empatha Elects New Officers to its Board of Directors
WASHINGTON, D.C., July 30, 2005.
Empatha, Inc., elected Dr. Gary Noble as Chairman of its newly formed board of directors, effective immediately.
“We are delighted that Gary Noble has assumed the role of chairman of the board,” said William C. Parra, Empatha’s interim president and chief executive officer. “Gary brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the areas of public health and the pharmaceutical industry. This knowledge will be extremely beneficial to Empatha.”
Noble is the former vice president for medical and public health affairs for Johnson & Johnson. Prior to that, Dr. Noble spent 29 years with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in various key positions, including deputy director of the Atlanta agency and director, CDC government affairs in Washington, D.C. Dr. Noble is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and is board certified in preventive medicine.
The Empatha board of directors also elected Sarah Harrison, vice president, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, as vice chair, and Thomas Terragno, principal, Booz Allen Hamilton, as secretary-treasurer.
