Mercury Promotions, a public relations and marketing firm in Romania, contracts with EMPATHA to provide assistance with World Bank project.

Empatha, Inc., recently announced that Mercury Promotions, a public relations and marketing firm in Romania, has contracted with Empatha to provide Technical Assistance in Risk Communications for a project funded by the World Bank.

Empatha's Research Triangle Park, NC, staff will be on assignment to help the client assess the current risk communications strategies used in Romania in communicating instructions and information to the general public in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. Empatha will also make recommendations on ways to improve their communication efforts.

Empatha was chosen for this project based on previous work done here in the United States communicating with the public on behalf of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, including taking calls on the CDC Public Response Service after 9/11.
